What is the best BPM and key for Trap beats?

Trap beats are typically produced in the 130 to 160 BPM range, which is often felt as 65 to 80 BPM in a half-time feel. This tempo provides the perfect balance for both rhythmic rapping and melodic singing. Most trap instrumentals are composed in minor keys like A Minor, C# Minor, or E Minor to achieve a dark, moody, or aggressive vibe that characterizes the genre, though melodic trap may use major keys for a brighter sound.

How do I buy Trap beats on HitFiend?

Buying beats on HitFiend is a simple and transparent process. First, browse the trap category and listen to the available tracks. Once you find a beat you like, select the licensing tier that fits your needs ranging from Free to Exclusive. Add the beat to your cart, and at checkout, you will pay the producer price plus a 12% service fee. After payment, you will receive an instant download link for your high-quality audio files in your dashboard and email.

Why does HitFiend charge a 12% service fee?

HitFiend is designed to be the most producer-friendly marketplace in the industry. We allow our independent producers to keep 100% of their sales price, ensuring they are fairly rewarded for their creativity. The 12% service fee paid by the buyer at checkout is used to cover platform maintenance, secure payment processing, and the development of new tools for both buyers and sellers, creating a sustainable ecosystem for everyone involved in the music creation process.

Do I own the Trap beat after I buy it?

Ownership depends on the specific license you purchase. Non-exclusive licenses, such as Standard, Premium, or Unlimited, grant you the right to use the beat for your projects within certain limits but allow the producer to sell the same beat to other artists. If you want full ownership and to ensure the beat is removed from the store, you must purchase an Exclusive license, which gives you the sole rights to the instrumental and full legal ownership of the composition.

What is included in the instant delivery?

Once your purchase is complete, you will receive an immediate download link via email and in your HitFiend account dashboard. The files included depend on the license tier you chose. Typically, this includes a high-quality MP3 file and a lossless WAV file. Higher-tier licenses often include stems or trackouts, which are individual audio files for every instrument in the beat, such as the kick, snare, and melody, allowing for professional mixing and mastering.

Can I use these beats for YouTube and Spotify?

Yes, you can use HitFiend beats for both YouTube videos and streaming platforms like Spotify, provided you adhere to the terms of your license. The Standard and Premium licenses usually have caps on the number of streams or views you can generate, while the Unlimited and Exclusive licenses offer unrestricted usage. Always check the specific contract details during the checkout process to ensure your license covers your intended distribution goals and commercial reach.

Are these beats royalty-free?

Most licenses on HitFiend are royalty-free for a certain amount of sales or streams, meaning you keep your earnings up to the limit specified in your license tier. However, the exact terms are defined by the individual producer in their license agreement. Generally, once you purchase a license, you are cleared to distribute your song and collect revenue until you reach the thresholds set by the specific contract tier you selected, after which you may need to upgrade your license.
