What is the best BPM and key for R&B beats?

The most common BPM for R&B ranges from 60 to 100 BPM for traditional soul and slow jams, while contemporary trap-soul often sits between 120 and 150 BPM (in double-time). Musically, R&B often utilizes minor keys and extended chords like 7ths and 9ths to create a sophisticated, moody, or romantic atmosphere.

How do I buy R&B beats on HitFiend?

Buying is simple: browse the R&B genre page, preview the tracks, and add your selection to the cart. During checkout, you will see the beat price plus a 12% service fee. Once payment is processed, your files and license agreement are delivered instantly to your account and email.

What licensing options are available for R&B instrumentals?

HitFiend offers several licensing tiers: Free, Standard, Premium, Unlimited, and Exclusive. Each license varies in terms of distribution limits (like Spotify streams) and file types (MP3, WAV, or Stems). Review each producer's specific terms to find the license that matches your project's goals.

Do I own the R&B beat after purchasing?

Ownership depends on the license. With non-exclusive licenses (Standard, Premium, Unlimited), the producer retains ownership and can sell the beat to others. With an Exclusive license, you acquire full ownership of the instrumental, and it is removed from the marketplace so no one else can buy it.

How are the files delivered after purchase?

All purchases on HitFiend feature instant delivery. Immediately after your transaction is complete, you will receive a download link for your high-quality audio files (MP3, WAV, or Stems, depending on the license) and a digital copy of your licensing agreement.
